PHYSICS 114: General Physics II
Second course of a two-semester sequence suitable for students in the life science. Electricity and magnetism, and optics, electromagnetic waves; modern physics (introduction to relativity, quantum physics, etc.). In addition to the Two 75-minute lectures each week, one workshop/recitation each week and one approximately three-hour laboratory every other week is required. Laboratory and workshop registration is done at the time of the course registration.
PREREQUISITES: PHY 113, MTH 142-143, or MTH 162 (may be taken concurrently).
